The security procedures and measures that apply at the “Nefeli” G-Cloud Data Center operated by InfoSoc S.A. to safeguard the data hosted and minimize the likelihood of a serious risks bringing the hosted IT systems and applications down, are in accordance with the ISO 27001:2013 security standard.
The Nefeli” G-Cloud Data Center has been built in line with the Uptime Institute Tier III standard and certification will be obtained during 2018. The Data Center is located in facilities where access by staff and guests is controlled, and logged using magnetic strip access cards and security cameras. Both physical security of the infrastructure and protection of data and applications (backups, encryption, network access) and user practices (passwords, access rights, etc.) are in accordance with the InfoSoc S.A. Data Center Security Policy. The Data Center and InfoSoc S.A. overall are currently preparing for certification on security issues in line with the ISO 27001 standard and certification is expected to be attained in 2018.
Moreover, the G-Cloud Data Center and InfoSoc S.A. overall are currently preparing to comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) No 2016/679) published in 2016 and which enters into force in May 2018.
The InfoSoc S.A. Service Management System will be certified in line with the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 standard to ensure that the quality of services offered is constantly improved. The ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 standard is in line with the procedures required by the ITIL international security procedures standard.
